Modern Floor Lamps

Floor lamps to light a corner, flank a sofa or stand beside a reading chair: crystal column lamps in the French manner, alabaster and brass pieces for modern rooms. Supplied with a plug for your region and a foot or inline dimmer on request.

How tall should a floor lamp be?

Reading lamps work best at 58 to 64 inches, with the bottom of the shade at or just below eye level when seated. Taller torchière forms are for ambient light.
