Maria Theresa Collection
Crystal-clad arms and cut drops in the manner of the Habsburg court.

The Maria Theresa chandelier is named for the eighteenth-century Austrian empress, and its signature is unmistakable: every curved metal arm is sheathed in flat plates of crystal, fixed with small crystal rosettes, so the structure itself sparkles before a single drop is hung. It is lighter and more open than a solid-frame chandelier and throws light in every direction.
The collection includes dining pieces of eight to eighteen lights, ballroom fixtures of forty-eight lights and more, matching sconces for the walls between, and table and floor lamps for the quieter corners of the same room. Frames are chrome or gold; crystal is clear, with coloured drops on request.
These are generous, celebratory fixtures. They belong over a long table, in a hotel ballroom, or in an entry that is meant to be remembered.

Questions we are asked
What is the difference between Maria Theresa and empire?
An empire chandelier is a closed crown of crystal strands; a Maria Theresa is an open frame of curved arms, each clad in crystal plates and hung with drops. Maria Theresa pieces are usually wider and more open; empire pieces taller and more columnar.
How much does a Maria Theresa chandelier weigh?
A twelve-light dining piece is typically 20 to 30 kg; a forty-eight-light grand piece can exceed 150 kg. A weight and mounting note comes with every spec sheet.
Can the number of lights be changed?
Yes. Arm count, tier count and overall size are all adjusted to the room before production.
