Alabaster Wall Sconces
Sconces finish a room: in pairs either side of a mirror or a bed, in a run down a corridor, or flanking a fireplace. The collection ranges from Maria Theresa and French lustre sconces in crystal to alabaster and brass pieces for contemporary interiors. Most take one to three candelabra lamps and are best on a dimmer.
How high should wall sconces be mounted?
Around 60 to 66 inches from the floor to the centre of the fixture in living spaces, and at eye level, roughly 60 inches, either side of a vanity mirror. Beside a bed, mount them so the light falls on the page, usually 48 to 55 inches.
Are sconces hard-wired?
Yes, all sconces here are hard-wired for 110–240V. Plug-in conversions can be discussed on request.
