Grand Chandeliers by Maison Lumière Paris

Grand chandeliers are made for double-height foyers, stair halls, ballrooms and hotel lobbies: pieces from about four feet wide and six feet tall up to custom fixtures several metres long. Each is engineered for its mounting point, crated for freight and assembled on site. Send us the ceiling height, the mounting structure and a photograph of the space and we will propose a size and a drawing.

How do I size a foyer chandelier?

Add the room's length and width in feet; that sum, in inches, is a sensible diameter. A 16 by 20 ft entry suits a piece around 36 inches wide. In a two-storey foyer the bottom of the fixture should sit above the second-floor sight line, usually 7 ft or more above the floor.

Can you make a custom size or shape?

Yes. Most grand pieces here are shown at a standard specification and are routinely made longer, wider or in a different configuration for a staircase or an atrium. Custom drawings are provided before production.

How is a large chandelier installed?

We supply a mounting and weight note with the spec sheet. Large fixtures need a structural mounting point and a licensed electrician; many are assembled in sections on site.
