Staircase

Cascades and spirals that fall the full height of the stairwell.

A stairwell is the one place in a house where a very tall, narrow fixture is exactly right. Spiral chandeliers, long cascades of crystal and vertical runs of alabaster or glass spheres can be made to any drop, so the piece is seen from every landing and from the hall below.

Measure from the ceiling at the top of the well to the floor at the bottom; the fixture can occupy most of that height, with the lowest element kept above head height on the lowest tread it passes. Installation needs a structural mounting point at the top and, for very long pieces, an access plan for cleaning.

Our staircase pieces are made to the metre; send a section drawing or a photograph with the floor-to-ceiling height and we will propose a length.
