Slices of natural quartz and agate, backlit like mineral windows.

Agate and quartz, cut into thin slices and polished, are translucent enough to glow when lit from behind. Set into brass or chrome frames as chandeliers, pendants and sconces, they make small, intense pieces: each slice shows the mineral’s own bands and crystals in amethyst, citrine, smoke and natural tones.

They suit powder rooms, bars, dressing rooms and modern entries, anywhere a jewel-like object is wanted rather than a wash of light.

Stone is selected piece by piece; photographs of the slices chosen for your fixture can be sent before assembly.

Questions we are asked

Is the stone real?

Yes, natural agate and quartz. Colours are as found or lightly dyed, as is normal practice for agate; we specify which with the piece.

How much light do they give?

These are accent fixtures. Pair them with other sources in a room that needs task or general light.
