Wrought Iron Collection

Hand-forged iron in the French country and Spanish traditions.

Wrought iron chandeliers belong to farmhouses, lodges, wine rooms and loggias, and to any room with exposed timber or stone. Ours are hand-forged, with hammer marks left visible, in dark bronze and black finishes, with and without crystal or glass. Candle-style arms, rings and lanterns make up most of the collection.

Iron is the most robust material in the catalogue and the easiest to live with outdoors under cover.

For a large barn or a double-height great room, iron rings can be made at any diameter.

Questions we are asked

Can wrought iron fixtures be used outside?

Under a covered porch or loggia, yes, with a suitable finish and outdoor-rated lamp holders specified at order. Fully exposed positions need a different specification; ask us.

Are they very heavy?

Heavier than brass of the same size. A mounting note is supplied; most pieces hang from a standard reinforced box.
