Light, from a builder’s eye

Maison Lumière Paris is the lighting house of Thomas Homes, founded and led by Jason Thomas.

Jason Thomas is a licensed contractor and real estate investor with a natural eye for design and years of hands-on craftsmanship. While renovating homes in Greystone, he kept running into the same problem: the fixtures available at any price were either ordinary or absurd. So he began custom-designing the chandeliers and statement lighting his houses deserved, and found that clients, designers and other builders wanted them too.

Maison Lumière Paris was launched to close that gap in the market for truly distinctive, luxury lighting. The name is a nod to the city whose lustres, empire crowns and ateliers set the standard every other chandelier is measured against; the work is done for American homes, and shipped worldwide.

What we make

Every piece is 100% custom-made to order using the finest materials. The crystal is authentic cut crystal, not industry-standard manufactured glass, and can be supplied in custom colours. The alabaster is natural stone, chosen slice by slice. The brass is solid, cast and finished by hand. Each fixture is built to your dimensions and finish, carries CE, UL and SAA certification and a five-year warranty, and arrives crated for installation.

The catalogue runs to more than two and a half thousand pieces across chandeliers, grand chandeliers for foyers and hospitality, wall sconces, ceiling lights, pendants and lamps. If you have a sketch of your own, we will build from that.

How we work

There are no prices on this site, because no two pieces are the same. Send a request for anything in the catalogue and it goes straight to Jason, who reviews every enquiry himself and replies promptly with pricing and lead time. Designers, architects and builders are welcome; personalised sourcing support is part of the service.
